Welcome to France

We are pleased to offer intimate tours focused on the discovery and appreciation of French culture.

Our itineraries are designed around a blend of  popular sites and also out of the way and unusual places where only small groups can go. Often,  we visit private homes, or invite English speaking guests to share the love of their country and add a personal touch to your stay in France.

Your tour director will point out many little details that would most likely go unnoticed but that are important to appreciate nuances that define French culture, its values and traditions. The intimacy of the groups usually 15 participants allows for personal attention and a better understanding of the French idiosyncrasies .

Food is an important facet of French life and all trips incorporate culinary experiences from visits of fabulous markets, to cooking classes, to visits to an artisan cheese maker or rare spirits tasting in an ancient distillery or an indulgent 8 course dinner where a carefully orchestrated symphony of flavors and textures is beautifully presented on fine china.

The careful selections of the hotels are designed to make you feel more that you are staying at a friends private chateau rather than at a hotel and the attentive hosts will add to your French experience.

Art and history are also a key part of French culture and all itineraries include a wide range of art, architecture crafts and history. Your tour director will not only take you to interesting places but also explain the historical and cultural context related to the sites you are visiting to add to the experience of your visit.

Please look at the itineraries below and choose the one you wish to join.

Custom itineraries can also be arranged for individuals who may want to travel independently but wish to have the help of a guiding hand.
